Hey, we might think that we here are doing it tough in the job market, especially as young people.

But can’t we take heart from Daniel Seddiqui in the US who is succeeding at getting one job in 50 states every week in 50 weeks?

Im a great advocate of young people living the dream, and doing something, and this is a prime example.

This whole notion goes back to my previous article, citing ‘excusitis’ in seeking a job. There is every excuse under the sun as to why we can’t reach high and secure our ‘dream job’.

I don’t have the right industry knowledge, I don’t know the right people, I don’t live in an area with those kind of opportunities, I don’t have the money to do the course, Im not smart enough, My girlfriend will miss me if I travel to another state, I can’t be bothered to write out the application form, I just can’t do it! AGGH!!

I too thought I would still be joining the dole queue (even university qualified) at 30 years of age, but I chose to do something about it and created this website as a resource for young people.

Yes, today’s economic conditions may make job hunting difficult, and yes, we may feel we are up against it when we are looking to launch our careers, but there are people out there (like Daniel) proving it can be possible.

Think it is possible and you will achieve the impossible.  Just take a leaf out of this young man’s book and you too, will start to believe.
