I heard a very interesting story on ABC's PM program by Michael Turtle the other night about the viability of the current centrelink program and what young people thought of it in its current state.

I thought id share it with you to further cement the problems young people are facing. (No, im not dreaming, I wasnt the only one with problems with centrelink.)

There were some good points our Youth Minister, Kate Ellis MP can take forward and look at making some changes to the current system.

Some of this feedback from the interviewed includes the following points:

1. Young people being looked down upon and made 'inferior' because they are unemployed or retrenched

2. Young people being shown a kiosk with lack of consultative advice and/or care

But we knew this already, right?
