"If you want to be creative in your company, your career, your life, all it takes is one easy step...the extra one. When you encounter a familiar plan, you just ask one question: "What ELSE could we do?""
~ Dale Dauten
Youth into Action offers career guidance and mentorship to students to fill the gap that exists today. Its founder, Chris Carlaw is a skilful Career Educator and a powerful motivator. He has an innate ability to relate to and motivate today’s youth in helping them visualise what they want and get what they want.
Chris is author of the book ‘Get this young person a job’!, the book that has what it takes to help your organisation empower students for better career prospects.
He runs the website called www.youthintoaction.com.au which is a forum for young people to download resources to assist with their job search and to rally against the Government to assist youth to help them find work that is fulfilling for them, not to simply reduce statistics.
Let us empower our youth;
- By raising their employability quotient
- By helping them shape their attitude to employability management
- By guiding them to start a career
- By calling them to ACTION NOW!

The changing face of career prospects is an opportunity for you to capitalise on. Many graduates are faced with un-employability after their degrees. Students cannot depend on just a degree to land a good job. We are here to help you face this reality.
Planning for a students career usually starts only after they graduate. Whose responsibility is it? There is where we step in. We are here to help provide them the guidance and mentorship to be proactive in building self marketing skills prior to one falling to Centrelink benefits.
Let me ask you, how many students still dream of “A Graduate Job”?
There are NO “Graduate Jobs”. Companies hire only skilled candidates.
What does ‘skilled’ mean?
It means it’s time to look at the personality of a person and not just their qualifications. Young people not only to manage their technical abilities but also manage the transition from college to corporate life. Many of them have to come to terms with a different work culture.
Career planning starts NOW; not AFTER graduation!
Let us work together to empower our youth.
We’d love to interact with your students. Just let us know when!
